I have always been interested in the material characteristics of clay. Porcelain is sensitive in taking up textures and it has a distinctive translucent quality when illuminated.

The thin porcelain sheet in “Central Route’ shows textures made from objects used in daily life. Among the imprints in the work, there is a route I often take while wandering in Central.
